Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to lead and inspire students across three grade levels (9th-11th grade). This role encompasses teaching Spanish 1, 2 & 3. The schedule can either be 3 days a week from 10-12:30 or 5 days a week from 10-12:30. This schedule would be determined upon hiring.

- Must be an active member of local church with similar fundamental beliefs and be in agreement with school’s statement of faith and Christian philosophy of education
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Operate as a strong collaborative team player valuing interactive communication.
- Proficient in common computer applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification is preferred
- Background Check required
Role Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility and act as Christian role model and leader for students, and create safe opportunities for them to be discipled and empowered to grow spiritually and academically
- Create engaging lesson plans, designed to move students towards meeting proficient performance of the high priority standards set forth by Faith Prep School
- Develop objectives within curriculum and implement a variety of instructional techniques applying Biblical principles
- Provide clear information to students and parents regarding class objectives, weekly assignments/homework, grading, and communicate a student’s progress or deficiencies in a timely manner
- Managing the classroom environment, oversee day-to-day activities
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation and assist administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct
- Contribute to a collaborative professional environment in which members are treated with the highest levels of respect
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7.5 – 12.5 per week
