Company Driver

• Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Company Driver and take on an essential role in ensuring the safe, timely, and the responsibility of being on the road .Power only loads with JB Hunt and other brokers.Drop and hook live u load.

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking manual transmission systems and specialized equipment.
• Follow planned routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit and handle special freight such as refrigerated goods or tanker loads with extra care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery or truck driver with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (e.g., tanker, flatbed).
• Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly preferred.
