Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for an NP who enjoys clinical independence, values strong patient relationships, and is comfortable practicing both family medicine and wellness/aesthetic services (training provided if needed).
You will manage your own patient panel while collaborating with a supportive team in a positive, professional environment.
The Nurse Practitioner will also be involved in medical documentation, diagnostic evaluation, medication administration, and patient education. Experience with telehealth, hospital medicine, and specialized treatments like botulinum toxin and dermal fillers is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct wellness visits, preventive care, and health screenings
- Prescribe and manage medications independently
- Offer weight loss management, hormone therapy, and wellness services
- Perform or learn aesthetic services (Botox, injectables, IV therapy, etc.)
- Provide specialized treatments including dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), esthetic laser procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care with strong clinical judgment.
- Administer injections and medications with precision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems like Epic or while maintaining compliance.
- Engage in telehealth consultations utilizing telemedicine platforms to extend care access.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses (ICD-9/10).
Experience
- Current Autonomous Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia (required)
- Board certified (FNP preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of NP experience (primary care preferred)
- Interest in wellness, hormone therapy, and/or aesthetics (experience a plus, not required)
- Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-centered mindset
- Background in telehealth services delivering remote patient assessments and follow-up care effectively.
