Before Care /After School Child Care Provider

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to support their development through various activities. This role involves supervising children and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties and Skills

• Supervise and engage with children during the Before Care hours of 6:45 am-9:15 am and/or 2:45pm-5:30pm.
• Maintain classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Provide first aid as needed and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Support children with special needs by applying behavior management techniques tailored to individual requirements.
• Foster an atmosphere of respect and encouragement while promoting Christian values where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
• Strong management skills to maintain order and promote positive behavior among children.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure the safety of all children in care.
• Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare, babysitting, tutoring, or sports coaching.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones.
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies that encourage positive interactions among peers.
