What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Site Director position at Faith Learning Center?
The Site Director is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the program and daily operations. Under the direction of the Director, the Site Director collaborates with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered, and that the needs of the students and the goals of the program are met appropriately.

This position reports to the Director.
Typical Schedule Monday-Friday 7a-4p
For the first year the site director will serve as a lead preschool teacher for 1 A.M. session. Year 2 the director will no longer serve in a classroom regularly and will oversee the full program.
Key Responsibilities
· Assume duties of teachers as needed during their absence.
· Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with program guidelines as well as state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed. (ex: ODJFS, SUTQ, Health Department, etc)
· Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities.
· Follow all program policies and state regulations.
· Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
· Promote a faith-based environment focused on the gospel.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
· 1 – 3 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
· High positive energy.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· A strong understanding of child development.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Christian beliefs and background
· Must clear full background check and finger printing.
Educational Requirements
· Associate Degree in early childhood education or related field of study preferred.(Must have CPL 3 or higher)
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift 40lbs

Wage Range
· Based on education and experience
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
