Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and secure new roofing projects within assigned territories
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on roofing options and benefits
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and targeted marketing efforts to expand the customer base
- Manage existing accounts by providing excellent customer service, upselling additional services, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth project handoffs from sale to installation, maintaining clear communication throughout the process
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, D2D & B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or home improvement industry (Required)
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory sales and lead generation activities independently
- Strong organizational skills for account management and sales analysis
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to foster long-term relationships
- Demonstrated ability in territory management, cold calling, and direct sales strategies
- Strong communication skills for conducting product demos, marketing pitches, and customer service interactions
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategies for business growth in competitive environments
