God is doing amazing things at Faith E Church and we are currently seeking candidates for a part-time Early Childhood Coordinator.
POSITION/TITLE: Early Childhood Coordinator
Reports To: Children's Ministry Director
POSITION PROFILE: The Early Childhood Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and supervising nursery staff/volunteers, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, and establishing strong relationships with parents and families. Opportunity to be involved in helping lead preschool ministry as time allows.
MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise nursery staff and volunteers.
- Recruit, manage, and schedule volunteers through CCB.
- Provide orientation, instruction, and training for new and current volunteers and staff.
- Facilitate safety and sanitization in the nursery area.
- Oversee check-in and pick-up of children. Assuring that children are only being picked up by their parents or authorized adults.
- Monitor appropriate use of sign-in sheets and name tags for children and volunteers.
- Maintain the children’s ministry policy as it applies to the nursery and communicate it to parents.
- Ensure the nursery area is ready at all used times.
- Become proficient in Community Church Builder (CCB) software, including developing ministry positions and groups for volunteers, utilizing email communication, and scheduling with group members.
- Pray individually for children and volunteers.
- Create opportunities for parents to connect through events and gatherings (such as Moms & Munchkins)
- Participate in the current children’s/family midweek program and Vacation Bible School.
- Manage the budget and financial goals and facilitate the annual budget process for the nursery.
- Connect with New Families who have kids in nursery.
- Participate in pertinent team meetings as necessary (such as Children’s Ministry and Staff meetings).
- Participate in ministry opportunities for preschool children as time allows, with the potential to expand the role to include preschool.
CHURCH ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engages in regular communication with one’s supervisor.
- Fully support and live out Faith Evangelical Church’s Mission, Vision, and Value statements.
- Deal helpfully and constructively with all other staff members, lay leaders, and volunteers within the Faith Evangelical Church body.
- Represent Faith Evangelical Church in a Christ-like manner in our community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
