Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Conduct renovations on existing electrical systems to improve safety and efficiency on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents while working.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial environments is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites, including framing carpentry and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations governing low voltage and high voltage installations.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools for various installation tasks.
