Job Summary

Duties
- Design and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children.

- Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe and organized space conducive to learning and play.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives.
- Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate childcare best practices for toddler care, childhood development principles, and early intervention techniques into daily activities.
- Lead activities that develop fine motor skills, literacy skills, numeracy (including math), and physical coordination through engaging lessons.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior reports, and classroom activities in compliance with educational standards.
- Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes positive social interactions among students.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom experience is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education at the preschool level.
- Experience working with children with special needs or implementing early intervention programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods preferred; relevant coursework or credentials are advantageous.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is desirable.
