What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sunset Hills Lead Teacher position at FAITH ACADEMY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCA?
The Lead Teacher will work full-time, approximately 36-40 per week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Model core values - flexibility, dependability, professionalism
- Implement curriculum and complete daily projects
- Communicate daily with parents
- Submit lesson plans to the Director
- Conduct seasonal playdates
- Follow and complete weekly framework
- Complete all required paperwork (attendance, child daily sheet, food program, etc)
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Responsible for assisting the Director in training Assistant Teachers
- Attend bi-monthly staff meetings
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous Childcare or classroom experience preferred
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently each shift
