QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:
- A High School Diploma or the equivalent in relevant work experience.
- Must have transportation to and from work.
- Intrinsic motivation to be results oriented.
- Must be a true team player; personable, professional, flexible, have a high level of integrity.
- Ability to manage time while multi-tasking
- Possess the strength and endurance to stand and walk for a full scheduled shift and intermittently lift to 100bs.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, kneel and climb a ladder while lifting approximately up to 100 lbs.
- High levels of personal accountability; an ability to be responsible for your own actions.
- Self-motivated, pro-active and ability to work independently, as well as in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong accountability in personal attendance (work scheduled hours, arrive on time, etc.)
RESPONSIBILITIES – HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:
- Receive inventory and non-inventory items into the warehouse by sorting, stocking, organizing, and replenishing items appropriately based on a defined process and objectives set by the Receiving Specialist or the Inbound Operations Manager.
- Read receiving documentation (e.g. Invoices, POs, packing lists, etc.) to determine items to be sorted and stocked.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of items received through a manual, visual, and/or digital checking process.
- Assist with various receiving and inventory-related projects including but not limited to physical inventory counts, moving product locations, installing/modifying racking, etc.
- Load/unload delivery trucks and mail vans.
- Use a computer to search inventory on-hand; assist Associates with locating product in the warehouse.
- Utilize the company ERP to accurately post inbound product into our working inventory.
- Operate receiving equipment, including pallet jacks, pallet stackers, and/or lift trucks; maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with Multi-Location Inventory Management as directed by the Team Leaders or the Management Team.
- Engage in various activities within the distribution department as directed by the Team Leader(s), including but not limited to picking, packing, checking, wrapping, shipping, loading, and securing of shipments.
- Pro-active and timely communication of concerns, issues, and ideas for improvement to the Team Leader.
- Assist in any task requested by either the Team Leader or the Management Team.
