We are currently seeking a Home Equity Loan Officer to join our team of professionals at our Support Center located in East Orlando on Alafaya Trail. This position offers a starting base annual pay of $52,788 in addition to incentive pay.
As a Home Equity Loan Officer, you will originate quality loans by matching credit union loan products, prices, and services to meet the needs of the membership. Working with Digital Sales & Service and retail branches, you will support all home equity processes and service needs.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Takes complete and accurate home equity applications, participates in obtaining all necessary support documents, oversees the loan process by monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity to terms.
- Respond to home equity inquiries from members and crewmembers by monitoring the Mortgage Services call queue. Also by responding to emails, and instant messages.
- Delivers a memorable member experience by effectively communicating with the borrower throughout the loan process and sending thank you email on all funded loans.
- Maintains home equity expertise by staying informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market and the competitive environment, as well as the changing rules and regulations.
- Ensures borrowers are making informed home equity decisions by offering advice and support on the various products and services that are available within the credit union.

- Familiarity with mortgage lending regulations, compliance requirements, and consumer protection laws.
