They act as the central contact for hiring managers and human resources to identify openings. They coordinate advertising and web posting responses. They are responsible for providing emergency staffing support service to the client.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include, but are not limited to, the following:Submit qualified candidates to client's hiring authoritiesRecruit and interviewCoordinate drug screens and background screens, and handle all new hire paperworkConduct safety walkthrough audits/inspectionsOrganize documents and fileFollow up with all supervisors and ensure their staffing needs are metReview worked hours from previous dayAttend company meetings upon requestEnsure employees needs are covered (PPE's, Safety Trainings, Department Trainings, etc.)Pick up checks and deliver/distribute to Supervisors/EEsUpdate Payroll SheetsUpdate new associate information in systemReview and ensure associates availabilityRecommend performance evaluations to Managers, Supervisors and LeadsConduct safety meetings with employeesReview client company expectations and requirementsKeep track on number of employees and hours worked (daily/weekly)Verify forklift certifications are up-to-dateEnsure certification of new forklift operatorsSupervise and provide support for associates or leads if neededEnsure attendance of associatesPerform safety orientations (including safety video)Assist in replacement or termination of associate assignment as neededInvestigate and complete injury reports when a work related accident occursEnsure worked/payroll hours have been entered correctly to avoid any issues with invoicesVerify payroll, correct any missing punches by verifying with employee and with clientPrepare payroll reports and ensure they are submitted to corporate no later than Tuesday of each weekPick-up and deliver/distribute checksPrepare weekly attendance reportAttend safety meetingsAttend safety committee meetingsQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GEDComputer literate, with experience in Excel and WordStrong Organizational skillsExcellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)Ability to communicate in Spanish desirable (but not required)Ability to communicate in English (required)Job Posted by ApplicantPro
