Powder Coater

• Powder Coater position. However, learning skills in our other departments by cross-training in the following areas blasting, loading, packaging, etc. will be a must.
• Our departments can be a very diverse here at Fairway as we apply a vast amount of different paint systems on a variety of fabricated steel materials. Fairway has 3 different paint shops, all using airless sprayers with different spray pumps and 1 powder coating shop.
• Additional duties may include but are not limited to unloading & loading of shipments, packaging, and assisting with painting & powder coating processes.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 60 pounds etc.)
• Experience with Sandblasting preferable
• Experience Painting a plus
• Knowledge of operating a skidster and/or forklift a plus
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• You will need the ability to lift heavy loads and move about in various positions. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you.
