Schedule

• Monday–Friday

Company Description Fairway Moving Services is a professional moving company headquartered at 920 Shipmaster Ave in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The company provides residential and commercial moving services to clients in the local area and surrounding regions. Fairway Moving Services focuses on safe, efficient, and reliable relocation support, from packing and loading to transport and unloading. Team members work closely with customers to ensure a smooth moving experience and maintain high standards of care for their belongings.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Professional Mover role based in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Professional Mover is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading household and commercial items, including furniture, boxes, and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include packing and wrapping items, disassembling and reassembling furniture, using moving equipment and tools, and following company safety procedures. The role also involves inspecting items for damage, documenting any issues, and maintaining cleanliness of trucks and equipment. Professional Movers interact with customers on-site, provide courteous service, follow schedules, and work as part of a team to complete moves efficiently and on time.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with crew members and interact professionally with customers.
• Attention to detail for packing, loading, and unloading items to minimize damage and ensure accurate inventory.
• Reliable time management, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to move schedules and instructions.
• Basic mechanical or tool-handling skills for disassembling and reassembling furniture and using moving equipment such as dollies and straps.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred; ability to operate or assist with operating moving trucks is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior moving, warehouse, or general labor experience is beneficial but not required.
• Commitment to safety practices and customer service, with a positive, respectful attitude in diverse work environments.
