Position Summary

The Attendant is one of the most important positions at The Fairway Club. This role supports every part of the operation—from assisting in the kitchen and bar to helping guests in our golf simulator bays.

No previous golf knowledge is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Deliver food and beverages quickly and accurately.
• Verify guest orders before delivery.
• Confirm guest names when delivering orders.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure they have everything they need.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times.
• Assist guests with questions about our facility and golf simulators.

Golf Bay Operations

• Register golfers and assign simulator bays.
• Set up tee times and playing sessions.
• Help guests get started on the simulators.
• Troubleshoot basic simulator issues.
• Monitor bay reservations and prepare bays for arriving guests.
• Clean and reset bays after each reservation.
• Maintain rental clubs by cleaning, organizing, and preparing them for guests.

Kitchen & Food Service Support

• Pick up completed food orders.
• Verify order accuracy and modifications.
• Confirm sauces, garnishes, and utensils are included.
• Deliver food promptly after preparation.
• Clear empty plates and cups from tables and bays.
• Help maintain a clean dining environment.

Bar Back Support

• Stock coolers with beverages.
• Stock beer kegs as needed.
• Refill ice bins and water stations.
• Cut fruit and prepare garnishes.
• Restock napkins, straws, utensils, and other supplies.
• Wash and organize glassware.
• Help keep the bar clean and organized throughout the shift.

Facility Cleanliness

• Wipe tables and chairs.
• Sweep and mop dining areas.
• Clean windows and entry doors.
• Keep guest areas clean throughout the day.
• Assist wherever needed to maintain a clean, welcoming facility.

These duties are based on our Attendant Standard Operating Procedures and may vary throughout the day depending on guest needs.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous restaurant, hospitality, golf, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
