Fairvue Farms is a third-generation family dairy farm located in Woodstock CT. We are currently milking 1500 animals at this time. We are focused on producing the highest quality milk while preserving our land, our people, and our community. We are looking to add a new member to our Shop.
Fairvue Farms is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, full or part time Farm Equipment Mechanic. Previous farm repair a plus but not required.
Our current fleet includes 10 class A & B trucks, 10 pickup trucks, several skid steers and over 18 tractors.
We are looking for a team player, as this position may occasionally need to step in to do other jobs on the farm. This position reports directly to the Shop Manager. Pay will be dependent on experience.

Key Employee Experience –
- Previous farm equipment repair a plus
Key Duties and Responsibilities –
- Perform ground/facility/equipment maintenance and repair
- Repairs and maintenance on various pieces of farm equipment
- Maintaining clean and well stocked shop
Physical Demands –
- Able to do physically demanding work (lifting, standing, reaching)
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Working at elevated positions, in dusty conditions, and around noisy equipment

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
