Floating Assistant Property Manager Job Description:
Assistant the Property Manager with the following:
- Maintain unit occupancy by effectively retaining residents and successfully marketing the property.
- Administer tenant leases in compliance with lease provisions.
- Ability to perform site inspections and conduct unit inspections in their entirety for continued compliance following company, HUD, RD and LIHTC rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the site team to prepare sites for Management and Occupancy (MOR), REAC, regulatory agencies, investor audits and inspections.
- Participate in compliance programs with established HUD, RD LIHTC, and other applicable policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints.
- Collect rents, monitor, and manage delinquencies and collections, and maintain accurate records.
- Process timely and accurate move-ins/outs and administer HUD recertifications.
- Ability to learn and utilize property management software.
- Monitor and resolve building occupancy.
- Prioritize application of the Affirmative Fair Housing Law in in every aspect of our operation.
- Attend court proceedings, as necessary.
- Support other communities as directed by management.
QUAILFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Certifications including: CPM (Certified Property Manager), COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit Certification) or equivalent housing certifications – salary will be adjusted upward by having additional certifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience & knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, Word & MS Outlook).
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls while exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of programs and government agencies including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, HUD guidelines, Section 8 and Fair Housing.

Salary Range: $37,500 - $42,000
An offer for employment for this role will be contingent upon a background check and drug screening.
