Speech Language Pathologist
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Exempt Position; 10 month; Full time
SALARY: Based on NC Teaching license and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: NC License in Speech Language Pathology required. NC Board Exam license required. Must have CCC/SLP certification. Preferred experience with Augmentative and Alternative communication and assistive technology. Ability to use a variety of non-verbal communication systems. Ability to complete comprehensive language evaluations including augmentative and alternative communication assessments to recommend methods, devices, aids, and strategies to represent or augment spoken or written language to optimize communication for students.
DUTIES: Speech and language services for children in grades K-12. Maintain appropriate documentation and file Medicaid for school-based services. Ensure all exceptional children student records meet federal mandates of IDEA.
