Fairview Cyber is seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns for our Risk Assurance team in Raleigh, NC. This internship provides hands-on experience in cybersecurity risk management, compliance, and assurance services.
- This is an in office position for the spring semester.
- Assist in the evaluation and documentation of clients’ cybersecurity controls and procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments, including the identification and analysis of potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Support the preparation and review of reports detailing findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.
- Help monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and frameworks .
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data, conduct research, and present actionable insights to clients.
- Stay up to date with current cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Interest in cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior internship or coursework related to cybersecurity or risk assurance is a plus, but not required.
