JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to be "shift engineer" on all operating boilers and installed hospital equipment, to stand any of the 3-shifts (7am-3pm, 3-11pm, 11pm-7am; 7 days/week), and to respond to in-house problems in support of the hospital and patients. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all hospital equipment (except Bio-medical) in accordance with established guidelines. Will also be responsible for Grounds Maintenance and Security as directed. Responsible for supervision and training of Level I, Base, and Maintenance Assistant personnel. May be required to work outside in inclement weather (i.e., extreme heat and cold).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Vocational education in a maintenance-related field or 3 years maintenance related experience.
- Must possess a minimum of State of Minnesota "Special Boiler Operating License".
- Must possess a minimum of a State of Minnesota "2B" Boiler Operating license or obtain within 12 months.
- Must possess appropriate, valid driver's license and have the ability to be covered by the GICH Insurance policy.
- Must have good mechanical aptitude, ability and knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
- Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
$27.58- $34.12 Hourly
Salary : $28 - $34
