Physical Therapist - Full-Time, Day

Job Summary: Plans and implements individualized physical therapy treatment programs, participates in operational and clinical functions, and provides guidance to therapy staff and students. Ensures compliance with regulations and demonstrates advanced clinical and interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions

• Conducts initial evaluations, develops and revises treatment plans, and sets measurable, patient-centered goals.
• Performs and interprets assessments across neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems.
• Implements diverse therapy techniques, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and manages patient discharge planning.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers, documents all care activities accurately, and ensures safety protocols.
• Supervises and mentors Physical Therapists, Assistants, and students, providing feedback and delegating tasks appropriately.
• Participates in team meetings, maintains departmental standards, and supports organizational initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure from the Board of PT Examiners or PT Compact Commission.
• Demonstrates clinical competency relevant to patient age and condition.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Additional Details: Provides supervision to staff and students, manages documentation, and contributes to department goals. This position reports to a supervisor or manager and is based in a hospital setting during daytime hours.
