Role: Emergency Department Tech Level I, responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate patient care under RN supervision in a fast-paced ED setting.

- Perform vital signs, 12-lead EKGs, blood sugar testing, wound care, oral suctioning, and splint application.
- Assist with aseptic procedures like catheterization, dressing changes, and phlebotomy.
- Operate cardiac and pulse oximetry monitors, recognize arrhythmias, and ensure equipment functionality.
- Transport patients, supplies, and medications while maintaining safety and proper stock levels.
- Monitor patients in restraint/seclusion, document observations, and respond to escalations via telesitter system.
- Support environmental safety checks and troubleshoot telesitter connectivity issues.
- Ensure patient safety during transfers and assist with patient education on mobility techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including instructor or provisional as required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with computers, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
