What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technologist position at Fairview Health Services?
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging department at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work overnights, Monday through Friday from 12AM - 6:30AM.
- If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm – 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
Performs diagnostic Ultrasound exams under the direction of a Radiologist.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
- Regist Diag Med Sonographer within 1 Year
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year hospital-based experience
- Proficiency in breast, general, interventional, OB and vascular ultrasound
