The Infusion Financial Securing department at Fairview Pharmacy Services is in seach of a Supervisor. II.
This role will have multi department responsibility and will supervise a team of employees who have daily interactions with providers/service line leaders. The Supervisor II is responsible for providing direction, leadership, project management and oversight of the business functions for the designated area. Responsible for staff, work processes and quality initiatives in the assigned program, pharmacy, or service line. The Supervisor II will have a strong knowledge of the area and will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills to support and manage operational objectives. This position partners with key stakeholders to drive strategic objectives, including, but not limited to program growth, financial stewardship, quality assurance, customer service, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
This position:
Has responsibility for direction and leadership of assigned team, including, scheduling, performance manage, and day-to-day operations.
Completes timely performance reviews of staff according to policy.
Manages operational expenses to meet the financial goals of the organization.
Proactively identify and lead/participate in process improvement opportunities
Actively supports the recruitment, orientation and promotes the engagement of team
Accountable for initial and ongoing staff competencies and licensure requirements
Ensures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate
Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations
Partners with leadership and other organizational stakeholders to design, deliver and ensure efficient and safe day-to-day operations in assigned program, pharmacy, or service line.
Coordinates, collects, analyzes, and reports on key data points through use of technology and other information gathering mechanisms
Promotes the pharmacy, program, or service line to develop ongoing improvements at the work location and provide effective, efficient and customer focused service to both internal and external customers
Works with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate quality and performance measures are in place to meet any policy, compliance or regulatory requirement
Works independently to problem solve operational errors that could impact bottom line financials
Makes decisions on department processes with limited direction to appropriately support business needs
Demonstrates effective stewardship of resources.
Education
Baccalaureate degree in business or healthcare related field or equivalent years of experience
Experience
3 to 5 years of Supervisory and/or leadership experience
Preferred
Education
Nationally certified. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Experience
5 plus years of Supervisory and/or leadership experience
License/Certification/Registration
Eligible to become registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MN State Board of Pharmacy
