What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor position at Fairview Health Services?
The Clinic Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of designated staff. Provides workflow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership to designated staff
- Actively supports the recruitment, orientation, and promotes the engagement of all clinical staff
- Accountable for initial and ongoing competencies for staff
- Ensures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate
Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations
Fosters an environment in which the team holds each other accountable to Fairview behaviors and valuesWorks collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations of the site(s)
Anticipates and responds to physician/provider staffing needs and assures that support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access, and patient demand- Performs appropriate due diligence to resolve patient and staff concerns
- Collaborates with leadership to help collect data through use of reporting to analyze, forecast, plan and direct clinic operations
- Promotes, supports, and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation
- Practices as a financial steward; provides input as appropriate related to clinic budget
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in healthcare, business or related field required
- 1 year demonstrated leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in healthcare, business or related field required
- 3 years previous supervisory/management experience
