Semi Driver-CMDI

Transports mobile scanning unit between scheduled locations across Minnesota and assists technologists in patient throughput as requested.  Home every evening and no weekends.

Job Expectations:

Transports mobile scanning equipment between locations

Maintains tractor/trailer

• Keeps equipment clean and in working order
• Communicates and schedules any repair needs in a timely manner

Escort/transport patients to scanner location at the hospital and assists with patient placement on scanner for MRI.

Participates as an active team member

• Orients and mentors new employees
• Participates in improvement initiatives
• Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
• Cleans and maintains patient areas, supplies and equipment
• Accepts unique customer service expectations in imaging

Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines

• Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is in working order according to dept guidelines
• Accepts new technology as it is introduced into the work environment

Required Qualifications

• 1 year driving experience with semi-truck/18 wheeler
• Class A Drivers License CDL Minnesota driver’s license

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
