The Respiratory Care Specialist position is responsible for delivering respiratory care to patients within specific clinical areas at an advanced level, functioning independently to help achieve medical team goals for designated patient populations. Shift differential incentives:
- $4.00/hr for nights
- $2.00/hr for weekends

As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing daily patient care
- Performing clinical procedures
- Implementing respiratory interventions based on plan of care
- Evaluating care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes
- Operating and maintaining all respiratory care equipment
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from CoARC or JRCRTE approved for Respiratory Care
- B.S./B.A. Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years Experience with documented competency in performing respiratory critical care duties, plus additional requirements listed below
- License with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- RespiratoryTherp Registered Registration (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified
- Pediatric Adv Life Support (American Heart Assoc) Pediatric Adv. Life Support (American Heart Assoc) * if working at a site that serves this population
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (American Heart Assoc) Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) * if working at a site that serves this population
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years Adult: 4 years performing respiratory critical care duties in an acute care setting, providing hemodynamic services.
- 4 years Pediatric/Neonatal: 4 years performing respiratory critical care duties in an acute care setting and providing hemodynamic services
