Registered Nurse/RN - Specialty Clinic - Casual

Fairview is looking for an Registered Nurse/RN at our Princeton Specialty Clinic! This is a casual position in a multi-speciality clinic. This position will help with the needs of the department.

The registered nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. This position will support a multi-specialty clinic and includes both hands on patient care and triage. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high-level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Implement nursing interventions based on plan of care.
• Evaluates care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.
• Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Continuously work to improve work processes, environment, and the overall experience to serve customers and meet business goals.

Required Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• 1 year previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting

Although this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Fairview offers employees the option to participate in the Fairview 403(b) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.

Salary : $40 - $57
