As a Medical Surgical Float Pool RN you will float to the Medical/Tele, Transplant, Neuro, Surgical, Oncology and Emergency Observation units.

MHealth Fairview Health Services is looking for a Med-surg Float Pool department at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. This is a:
- .75 FTE (60 Hours worked every two weeks)
- Day shift position with 12 hour shifts and every third weekend.
Job Overview:
- RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
- Establish and implement nursing care plans for assigned patient populations through assessment, development, activation, evaluation, and discharge.
- Conducts ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the hospital policies, procedures or protocols and reprioritizes care accordingly.
- Organize, assigns, and supervise duties and responsibilities of other staff members as a team leader.
- Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
- Collaborate with patient, family, and health care team members
Required Qualifications
- MN RN License
- BLS for Health Care Providers
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Recent within one-year med/surg RN experience
- Certification in a related specialty is highly desired
