Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Float Pool at the Woodwinds Hospital located in Woodbury, MN.
The Float Pool RN will float to a variety of units including Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology, Telemetry, ICU and/or ED! This unique department is a specialty group comprised of highly skilled experts that support patient care throughout the hospital. Woodwinds Health Campus opened its 86-bed hospital in August 2000. Located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands in Woodbury, MN, it’s the only hospital in the Southeast Metro area. Schedule: This position will be working a 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks) working 12 hour shifts, on the Night shift, with an every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation.

About Our Float Pool Department at Woodwinds Hospital

- Patient Population: Ages 18
- Acute care experience, telemetry experience, and critical thinking skills are all important to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid RN License from MN Board of Nursing
- Acquire specialty certification within two years of hire
- Expectation of Telemetry training within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience
