Fairview has an immediate opening for an RN to join our team at the Fairview Wyoming Lakes Clinic. This position will work in the Wyoming Family Practice clininc and th Wyoming Actute and Diagnostic Services department.
Join Fairview, the largest healthcare system in the state! The Fairview Wyoming Lakes Clinic is a growing and collaborative clinic. Our clinic hours are 7AM to 6PM Monday - Thursday and 7AM - 5PM on Fridays, so no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This provides an excellent work life balance!
Typical work schedule is;
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (ADS)
Week 2: Tuesday (ADS), Wednesday, Friday with majority of shifts working 9:30AM - -6:00PM
This is a 0.7 FTE (56 hours per two week pay period), MNA -Lakes benefit elgible opening.
The registered nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high-level functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/families. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
- Implement nursing interventions based on plan of care.
- Evaluates care and the patient’s response to interventions and expected outcomes.
- Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
- Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Continuously work to improve work processes, environment, and the overall experience to serve customers and meet business goals.
Required Qualifications
- MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
- 1 year previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting
