What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist - ADIT - Up to $12,000 Sign-On Bonus position at Fairview Health Services?
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9AM - 5:30PM.
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient care
- Performs examinations
- Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
- Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
- Verify patient identification and documentation
- Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
- Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
- Ensures patient data integrity
- Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
- Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Radiology Tech
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a technologist
