The Project Management Associate is responsible for independently initiating and leading strategic projects and programs in accordance with healthcare and industry standards and best practices. The Project Management Associate will be tasked with engaging partners to resolve delivery challenges and reduce project impacts. They will be expected to identify, prioritize, and monitor resolution of cross-portfolio delivery risks, issues, and dependencies. Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and clear communication is provided to our customers and members.

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.

The Project Management Associate will be tasked with engaging partners to resolve delivery challenges and reduce project impacts. Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and clear communication is provided to our customers and members.
Here's What You'll Do When You Join Us
- Effectively lead a project management team in a manner that ensures timely execution of project or program deliverables. Provide governance oversight to ensure project/program adherence to standards, policies, tools, and procedures. Guide project team members to consistently apply appropriate analysis principles during project analysis, design, and implementation phases.
- Creates a consultative partnership with executive sponsors and key stakeholders. Responsible for defining and managing overall project or program dashboard and roadmap. Responsible for identifying enterprise process impacts to ensure business readiness.
- Define the overall vision, objectives, and key deliverables for the project or program; identify and track key measures of success. Direct the development of comprehensive project plans that incorporate deliverables, accountabilities and timelines, communication plans and that utilize the project management tools for maintaining/tracking project plan and status (cost, scope, schedule, quality and value).
- Work effectively with business partners, vendors, and staff to develop the project or program agenda and ensure agreement/adoption of objectives/deliverables by affected constituencies. Provide proactive communication to project/program owners. Work to identify cross-organizational interdependencies and ensure appropriate integration to project plan. Effectively manage client expectations and resource requirements to ensure ownership and success.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for all project or program activities related to delivery of initiatives to ensure the project/program meets defined success criteria. Effectively manage risks and issues ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Work with business and technology leaders to recommend scope changes and integrate into the project structure.
- Coach and mentor leaders on project management for workforce development opportunities.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Successful track record of delivering projects/programs/releases
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Ability to formally present project related information in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
- Excellent facilitation skills and ability to drive resolution to issues
- Expert skills in project management methodologies, processes and industry standard tools
- Successful experience driving cross-organizational teams to meet project objectives
- Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, building rapport and maintaining collaborative relationships
- Strong understanding of contract management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or obtain within one-year of employment
- 3 - 5 years of project management experience
- Experience leading Application, Infrastructure and Facilities projects
- Large organizational change management experience
- Health Care industry experience
