Overview
Fairview Health Services is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join the multi-specialty practice at M Health Fairview Clinics – Burnsville. Join a group of physicians interested in staying on the cutting edge of their field and participating in quality improvement committees. Burnsville serves a very diverse patient population.
Practice Details:
- Join a team of 8 physicians
- Surgical cases and deliveries performed at: Fairview Ridges Hospital. Hospital does have a robot for surgical cases and the group has 4 physicians who perform robotic surgery. Option to perform surgical cases at Ambulatory Surgery Center attached to the hospital.
- Admitting Hospital: Fairview Ridges Hospital
- There will be an expectation that physicians will see clinic patients at the Burnsville Clinic and one additional Fairview community clinic nearby.
- Average of 80 deliveries annually per physician.
- Average of 20-24 patients per day in clinic
- Opening: 0.75 FTE
- Schedule details: 4 day clinical work week - includes clinic, surgery, and on-call time
- Call Frequency: An average of 4 days of call /month, with 24 hour in-house support for emergencies.
- Established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and sub specialty physicians
Income Details:

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program.
- BC/BE with the ABMS
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
