Physician - Neurology Hospitalist

Fairview is seeking a Neurology Hospitalist at M Health Fairview St. John's in Maplewood, MN.

The Neurology Hospitalist is a member of the health care team who works in collaboration with other physicians and staff to provide care and timely access to patients.  The Neurohospitalist provides general neurology consultations and evaluation to acute patients for conditions including but not limited to seizures, headache, myasthenia gravis, and multiple sclerosis. Responsible for providing care to patients at designated sites and facilities as assigned. The scope of practice of each physician is defined through the Fairview's Credentialing and Privileging Committees.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Neurology residency training program
  • Preferred graduate of a Neuro-Hospitalist fellowship training program
• Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
