Physician - Hospitalist

Fairview seeks a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Internal Medicine (preferred) or Family Medicine physician to join the Hospitalist team at M Health Fairview Woodwinds Hospital. M Health Fairview Woodwinds Health Campus is an 86-bed health campus, Level IV trauma, that opened in 2000 and is located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands, and the only hospital in the southeast metro area. Specialty services include Orthopedics, Maternity Care, Spine Care, Cancer Care and Natural Care Center.

Practice Details:

• Flexible Work Schedule with 6-7 days on and 7-8 days off
• FTE 0.85
• Shift Hours:
  • AM Rounder:  7 am - 6 pm
  • PM Swing Shift:  12 pm - 10 pm
  • Overnight Shift: 9 pm - 8 am
• Exceptional group of physicians with collegial relationships with all specialty groups that practice within the health system
• Average 12-15 patients for AM shifts and 5-10 patients for PM shifts
• Work with a collegial group of over 13 hospitalists and 2 APPs
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency training program
• Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 1.0 FTE. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
