What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician - Hospitalist Casual position at Fairview Health Services?
Fairview at M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital seeks a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join the Casual Hospitalist team. M Health Fairview St. John's Hospital is a 200 bed community hospital with a high level of services, certified as a level III trauma center. Semi-open ICU model with ability to co-manage with on site Intensivists. Procedures and vent management are not required. Open to all levels of experience. 10-11 rounders on per day, 2 providers on for evening and 2 nocturnists. No procedures required.
Practice Details:
- Casual - work on an as needed basis
- Shift Hours:
- AM Rounder: 7 am - 6 pm
- AM Swing Shift: 7 am - 6 pm
- PM Swing Shift: 12 pm - 10 pm
- PM Swing Shift: 2 pm - 1 am
- Nocturnist Shift: 9 pm - 8 am
- Exceptional group of physicians with collegial relationships with all specialty groups that practice within the health system
- Average 12-15 patients for AM shifts and 5-10 patients for PM shifts
- Work with a collegial group of over 30 hospitalists
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program
- Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
