What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant - Rheumatology position at Fairview Health Services?
Fairview is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Rheumatology practice at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center – Maple Grove. We are seeking a candidate who will deliver high quality rheumatology care to adult patients. Clinics have on-site laboratories as well as imaging capabilities.
Practice Details:
- Openings: 0.8 FTE
- Monday – Friday, hours dependent on patient needs
- Patient encounters average 8-12 patients per day
- One rheumatologist physician at Maple Grove
- Additional specialist on site to offer real-time consultants
- Established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and subspecialty physicians.
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program
- BC/BE through the NCCPA
- Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Demonstrated experience in rheumatology is essential
