Patient Services Coordinator

Fairview has an immediate opening for a Patient Services Coordinator at the Chisago Clinic located in Chisago, MN. Come join the team! The Fairview Chisago Lakes Clinic is a growing and collaborative clinic.

This is as .7 FTE (56  hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible, SEIU Local 113 union position.

The tentative schedule for this opening is as follows, subject to change based on clinic needs:

Every Thursday,  9:30AM - 6:00PM in Wyoming, and 0.5 Flex FTE/2 week period supporting Wyoming, Chisago, Hugo and North Branch locations.

The Patient Services Coordinator performs a variety of clerical functions to support the provider and patient care staff.  The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible to ensure patient medical records and reports are available as needed and prepares applicable medical record forms.  Relays messages to and from physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other resources necessary for patient care.

Coordinate’s activities of care team to support provider and patient care staff.

• Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely fashion.
• Requests/obtains patient reports as necessary.
• Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions.
• Coordinates communication between care team and outside resources.
• Enters refills

Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required:

1 year of experience

High School Diploma or GED

Additional requirements:

Excellent public relations and communication skills

Good telephone and computer skills

Must be flexible and efficient

Preferred:

3 years of experience

Willing to work at other sites

Knowledge of mecial terminolgy

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.

Salary : $20 - $27
