Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Fairview Lakes Medical Center located in Princeton, MN! This position offers about 10 hours per a 2-week pay period and is not benefit eligible.
Summary: The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area
- Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards.
- Plates and serves food
- Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards.
- Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
- Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor’s dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
- Accurately operates cash register.

- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Experience
License/Certification/Registration
Additional Requirements (must be acquired or completed within a period of time):
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
- Basic math skills
