Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Float Pool

M Health Fairview is looking for a Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Woodwind’s Hospital in Woodbury, MN. This position is 0.75 FTE (60 hours per two weeks) working 12 hour shifts, on the Day shift, with an every third weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and a holiday rotation.  As a Float Pool Nursing Assistant, you can expect every day to be different and exciting with a wide range of patient population experiences.

• Documents patient information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards, department policies/procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned

Required

License/Certification/Registration

• Successful completion of Fairview’s OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program.

OR

• Six months of recent direct care experience in a long term, home care or acute care setting. (Appropriate roles may include, Nursing Assistant, PCA, Resident Assistant or Emergency Room Technician)
  
  

OR

• Current enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program

OR

• Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire. This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position

                AND

• Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required. Ontrack participants much be able to obtain Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification upon completion of the OnTrack program.

Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
