Nurse Practitioner - Otolaryngology- Maplewood and Wyoming, MN

Fairview is seeking an Otolaryngologist Nurse Practitioner to join our specialty practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Maplewood and Wyoming. Join a group of otolaryngologists providing comprehensive adult and pediatric General Otolaryngology.  This position will be primarily caring for patients in the outpatient clinic setting with opportunity for first assist in the OR.

Practice Details:

• Join a team of 6 otolaryngologists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers in the region seeing general adult and pediatric cases
• Full time (1.0 FTE)
  • Monday-Friday
  • No call!
• Assist the surgeons in the operating room with surgical procedures as requested.
• Perform office-based procedures under the supervision of an attending physician. This may include removal of cerumen, assist with flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy, head/neck/oral cavity biopsies, nasal packing, cautery, drain removal, suture removal, etc.
• Providing care and education to patients with various otolaryngologic conditions in coordination with the attending physicians and performing various procedures in the office setting.
• Supported in clinic by full-time audiologists as well as Otolaryngology-specific dedicated MA’s and RN’s
• Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
• Established referral base of Fairview employed primary care and sub- specialty physicians
• Close affiliation and shared medical record system with the University of Minnesota Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for seamless referrals for more complex problems

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
• BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
• Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Otolaryngology practice

The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. Salary : $121,638 - $175,698
