What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Assistant position at Fairview Health Services?
We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in River Falls, WI
This part-time food services position includes;
- 32 hours per two week pay period
- Day/early evening shift
- Every other weekend rotation

This beautiful new building will offer 100 senior apartments including independent and assisted living units as well as a carefully crafted memory care neighborhood on the first floor with a patio courtyard.
Responsibilities:
- Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
- Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal service
- Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
- Assists with meal prep and special events
- Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
- Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills and aptitude, teamwork and positive attitude required
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff
- Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
