Central Processing Facilitator - Woodwinds Hospital

Fairview has an immediate opening for a Central Processing Facilitator at Woodwinds Hospital located in Woodbury, MN.

This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period), benefit-eligible opening.

The position is primarily day shift 8AM-4:30PM, however, there may be times when training staff on other shifts is necessary. This a Monday - Friday role with occasional weekends as needed.

The Central Processing Facilitator is responsible for the scheduling of all contract employees within the System Central Sterile Services Department. Responsible for the facilitation and scheduling of ongoing educational learnings and documentation. Maintains appropriate levels of surgical and floor tray instruments providing the management of the inventory. This position works closely with the Director, Manager, Supervisors and Instrument Tracking System Manager.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or
• GED
• Knowledge of PC/laptop, word documents, excel spreadsheets, network applications and staffing software.
• 3 years sterile processing technician or related experience
• 2 years of supply chain experience or related experience
• Scheduling, working with union employees
• HSPA CRCST certification is required within 12 months to continue employment
• High level of communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to organize details and maintains accurate records.
• Complies with all Fairview and departmental policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates and has knowledge of principles of growth and development skills necessary to successfully accomplish job requirements, including age specific competencies where appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Instrument Processing Technician, leadership coursework and training
• Surgical Technician with lead experience or related experience
• HSPA CIS, CHL
