What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Intern position at Fairview Health Services?
This summer internship will be a 10-12 week program with an estimated end date of August 28, 2026.
Pay: Flat rate of $20/hr.
The intern would observe site operations, support site needs and support projects.
The Adminitrative Intern will have:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrates excellent listening skills
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with interdisciplinary team members and interacts effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Ability to receive and give feedback
- Proficiency with data entry and the ability to maintain high accuracy under tight timelines.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to achieve or exceed expected outcomes while producing and distributing work products in a timely manner.
- Ability to problem solve, perform service recovery, and organize daily tasks to optimize productivity.
- Ability to collaborate with interdepartmental leadership or third party subject matter experts.
- Ability to adopt a learning mindset with a keen focus on development opportunities.
Requirements:
Education
- In-progress with a bachlelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare administration or a related healthcare field.
Experience
- Excellent writing skills, computer skills, strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to complete projects accurately and on time.
- Knowledge or experience within healthcare and/or healthcare administration

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
