Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize dental instruments and manage infection control protocols
- Handle instruments efficiently during procedures
- Maintain accurate dental charting and record keeping
- Assist dentists and hygienists chairside during treatments
- Support scheduling and appointment coordination
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in dental assisting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- Knowledge of dental radiography
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
- Proficient in chairside assistance
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Effective patient communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate within a small dental team
