Fairport Hardware & Rentals is seeking a Store Manager with a strong background in retail and management.
A few of the responsibilities you can expect to have in this role are to:
- Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a role model for the store.

In collaboration with Management:
- Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals, establish priorities and communicate expectations to staff.
- Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff.
- Provide performance evaluations and coaching for increased performance.
- Direct and coordinate ordering, merchandising, and pricing of merchandise ensuring compliance with support center directives.
- Monitor arrival of new products and arrange entry into the POS system in coordination with the sales team. Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, and safety programs and overall physical and facilities maintenance of the hardware store.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Email systems.
