Duties

- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and investigations, ensuring accurate documentation of events.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to address crime-related issues.
- Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities and gather evidence for investigations.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in areas such as leadership, report writing, firearms and other necessary training to meet Ga. POST requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in criminal justice is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass rigorous background checks.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the public and fellow officers.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a commitment to teamwork and community service.
- Experience or training in conflict management is highly desirable.
- Ga. POST certified officer in good standing.
