Join our Activities Team at Fairmount Homes and help bring joy, purpose, and meaningful connection to the lives of older adults. As an Activity Aide, you’ll play a special role in creating engaging experiences that brighten each day for our residents.
Whether it’s music, games, conversation, or creative activities, your presence will help foster a sense of community, belonging, and delight.
Activity Aide Schedule & Pay
- Hours: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- Additional PRN (as needed) opportunities available
- Pay: $17.80 – $19.25/hour
- Weekend Differential: $1.25/hour
What You’ll Do
- Assist with and lead group and one-on-one activities for residents
- Encourage participation in music, games, crafts, and social events
- Build relationships and provide companionship to residents
- Support a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment
- Help create meaningful moments that enhance quality of life
What We’re Looking For in an Activity Aide
- A genuine love for working with older adults
- A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to connect with individuals of varying physical and cognitive abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills—kind, respectful, and team-oriented
- Experience with older adults preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid PA Driver’s License preferred
